About Pekoe
Meowllo! My name is Pekoe (yes, like the tea!) and I am in search of my furever home.
I am, and always have been, a small, but brave little guy. I was the runt of the tea baby litter when I was first born, but I bounced back quickly once our foster mama started syringe-feeding me.
Nowadays, I am full of energy and love to play. In fact, when the rest of our siblings (including me) are scared of a new toy, I am usually the first one to go and investigate. I love them all - from hard plastic balls with bells in them, to a battery-operated “Floppy Fish”, you will find me having fun!
When I am not playing with toys, you can find me watching TV. I don’t quite understand what I am looking at, but I love to look at the pretty colours and animals.
A quirk of mine is that I will sometimes carry toys in my mouth and make my siblings chase me around. Along with being very playful, I am also very affectionate and will often cuddle on my foster paw-rents’ laps and give kisses.
I would thrive in any sort of home. I am comfortable with children, dogs and cats. I find it easy to make new friends!
Pekoe's Adoption Fee | $149.00
The feline adoption fees help cover the costs associated with rescuing, such as vetting, food, kitty litter and other expenses.
Prior to adoption, cats are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed and given flea treatment. In short, they receive any necessary treatment.
For more information about adoption fees, please review our Adoption FAQs & Fees page. Alternatively, you can email us and communicate with our Adoption Coordinator.
Why We Love Fostering
-
Fostering is such a rewarding experience and works great for us as it is very flexible. We love seeing the difference in their personalities from day 1: from timid and nervous to a happy, healthy, better-socialized dog. It gives them time to decompress before going to their perfect home. Fostering enriches our lives knowing we are saving a life each time, and giving them a better life ahead. It warms the heart knowing you were part of this process.
