About Matcha

Hi there, my name is Matcha (yes, just like the tea), and I am in search of my furever family and home!

I am a curious, gentle, affectionate, and playful girl. My favourtie toys are my rabbit, the ball tower, and…lasers!!! Believe it or not, I have caught that red dot many times, but it always seems to somehow get away! When I am not playing I enjoy sitting on my perch and looking out the window.

Now here’s the thing, I grew up with six siblings.. yes, you read that right: SIX!! I was actually adopted once before by a lovely family who had a cat. And I know what you’re thinking “Oh, how sweet, a friend for Matcha to cuddle and play with!" But the truth is that after growing up in such a big litter, I really just want to be the only animal in the house for a change. I love attention and am very affectionate, so I don’t want to share my forever humans with any furry siblings.

If you are looking for a kitten that will give you lots of love, kisses, and cuddles, and one that also LOVES children…I’m your girl!

If you are interested in welcoming me into your family, feel free to fill out an adoption application below! I hope to meet you soon!

Matcha's Adoption Fee | $149.00

The feline adoption fees help cover the costs associated with rescuing, such as vetting, food, kitty litter and other expenses.

Prior to adoption, cats are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed and given flea treatment. In short, they receive any necessary treatment.

For more information about adoption fees, please review our Adoption FAQs & Fees page. Alternatively, you can email us and communicate with our Adoption Coordinator.

Why We Love Fostering

  • I have always loved animals and I spoil my own pets enough, so I figured "Why not try fostering?" That's when everything changed. I found that fostering is incredibly rewarding, because not only do you care and love each cat that comes into your home, but you get to send them to their furever homes and see the adopter’s faces light up when they meet them. Building the foundation of the kitties is what makes fostering such a wonderful experience. There is truly nothing better.
