Clara's Bio
Hello, world! I’m Clara - a tiny ball of fluff that likes to act tough!
My siblings and I were rescued from the scary outdoors and we were feral, so I am still learning to trust humans, BUT if you give me a chance I could be your new best buddy!
When I’m not babysitting my brother and sister, I enjoy cuddling on big comfy pillows and snuggling under kitty trees. I also like to play and tolerate being picked up by my foster mom. She thinks that with time, I may grow to love being held.
I would thrive best in a home with either one of my siblings or another calm kitty to have a companionship with. Due to my shyness, I would not do well in a home with young, loud children.
If you would like to earn the title of my furrever companion and home, feel free to submit an application below!
Here's what my foster mom Vera has to say about me:
“Clara is a sensitive and shy girl. She’s very cautious around people, but I think that will go away with time and the right person. She likes to watch the squirrels and the birds through the window. She’s super observant.”
Adoption Fee | $149
The feline adoption fees help cover the costs associated with rescuing, such as vetting, food, kitty litter and other expenses.
Prior to adoption, cats are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed and given flea treatment. In short, they receive any necessary treatment.
For more information about adoption fees, please review our Adoption FAQs & Fees page. Alternatively, you can email us and communicate with our Adoption Coordinator.
Why We Love Fostering
-
Teddy and Lily came to me almost 10 years ago. Unfortunately, Lily is suffering from kidney disease, but Teddy takes care of her and watches over her to the best of his ability. I've said this so many times: They didn't need me, I needed them. Pets Alive Niagara is hands down one of the most loving, caring, involved, dedicated charities in the Niagara Region. If you are able to be part of this family jump on our band Wagon won't you? 🐾🎙.
