Tui's Bio
Meowllo, big world. I’m Tui - a tiny, sweet little lady.
I was rescued with my 4 babies: Chopper, Dala, Lady Mary and Tama. During this time, I was very fearful of people and yet my foster mom said I was such a wonderful, attentive mother. Even when scared and apprehensive, my only priority was taking care of my babies, and once they were all adopted, my foster family made it their mission to show me that there was so much love in the world for me and today, I am learning to accept love and even purr when being pet!
Although I am so thankful that they have found their furever homes, I am looking for mine.
I live with 2 cats (one of which is part banana and the other is very dramatic) and I tolerate both of them quite well. There is also a large, cat-loving dog that wishes to lick me clean. I choose to ignore his affection without being rude. Quite frankly, I think I do a fantastic job at cleaning myself.
I have the opportunity to hide all day long but choose to nap out in the open and walk around my busy foster house, not thinking too much of the chaos.
My foster family thinks that I would do well with other calm cats in a nice, quiet environment. I am still learning to trust and am growing more confident every day.
If you would like to earn the title of my furrever companion and home, feel free to submit an application below!
What my foster family has to say about me:
"Given her anxious nature and continuing growth, Tui will need a home with loving humans who are patient and respectful of her boundaries, but are also willing to help her grow comfortably."
Adoption Fee | $149
The feline adoption fees help cover the costs associated with rescuing, such as vetting, food, kitty litter and other expenses.
Prior to adoption, cats are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed and given flea treatment. In short, they receive any necessary treatment.
For more information about adoption fees, please review our Adoption FAQs & Fees page. Alternatively, you can email us and communicate with our Adoption Coordinator.
Why We Love Fostering
-
Teddy and Lily came to me almost 10 years ago. Unfortunately, Lily is suffering from kidney disease, but Teddy takes care of her and watches over her to the best of his ability. I've said this so many times: They didn't need me, I needed them. Pets Alive Niagara is hands down one of the most loving, caring, involved, dedicated charities in the Niagara Region. If you are able to be part of this family jump on our band Wagon won't you? 🐾🎙.
