*** Please note that we are NOT accepting applications for the dogs listed as Coming Soon. These dogs have either yet to arrive or have only just recently arrived. Once their foster families get to know them a little better, a detailed bio outlining their personality and describing their ideal home will be posted and we will then begin accepting applications for them. ***
About Galaxia
Galaxia is an adorable social butterfly who recently arrived from Mexico. She is so sweet and loves everyone—both people and dogs alike! She does get a bit jealous when another dog is getting all the attention, but she’s not aggressive whatsoever and simply jumps in to get her share of the love.
Galaxia is a total cuddle bug with zero concept of personal space, and when she gives you a hug with her two front paws, she doesn’t let go!
Although there are no children in her foster home, Galaxia is so friendly that she would likely be good with gentle, dog-savvy kids. She has demonstrated a prey drive while on walks (she would love the opportunity to chase some squirrels), so a home without cats might be better.
Galaxia would be happy as the only dog in the home to ensure she gets all the attention she craves, but she’s currently being fostered with another dog and does well with other dogs in the home. As she is still acclimatizing to the winter weather, Galaxia can be reluctant to do her business in the snow, and her leash walking is a bit zig-zaggy, but her fosters are working on both and she has already improved a lot since she arrived.
Galaxia is a young, fun dog and would likely do well in almost any home environment!
