Nova's Bio
Are you looking for an affectionate lap kitty? If so, then I’m the one for you!
My name is Nova and I am a lover of many things - people, treats and lighthearted mischief, to name a few. I was surrendered by my previous family due to a habit of jumping on counters, but I have made amazing progress with breaking it and with the right family, my foster mom is sure that I’ll make even more!
Immediately upon entering the room, I will greet you with a head bob and sniffs. If you sit on the floor with me, I’ll circle around you and sniff your shirt, pants, and sometimes your feet. I allow (almost) everyone to pet me and I will happily give you headbutts.
I will definitely keep you on your toes. I have found entertainment in flipping my food and water bowls, and I have also learned how to open the closet door to grab my treats. I’m very smart, to say the least.
I would thrive best in an active household with no animals, as I love soaking up every ounce of affection. Perhaps in the future, as I get accustomed to my furever home, I may allow for another furry friend to join the crew.
Have you fallen in love with me yet? If so, feel free to submit an adoption application below!
From My Foster:
"Nova has been working on becoming socialized with other cats, so there is a possibility that she could come around to them. This is something that you and her foster mom could chat about post-application."
Adoption Fee | $149
The feline adoption fees help cover the costs associated with rescuing, such as vetting, food, kitty litter and other expenses.
Prior to adoption, cats are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed and given flea treatment. In short, they receive any necessary treatment.
For more information about adoption fees, please review our Adoption FAQs & Fees page. Alternatively, you can email us and communicate with our Adoption Coordinator.
Why We Love Fostering
-
We love fostering because the dogs bring so much love and joy into our home. Seeing them adjust to life in a home, come out of their shells and become their happy, playful selves is so rewarding. It's also a great feeling so see them got adopted by a home that will love them forever. The foster dogs also have a lot to teach us about resilience, adaptability, trust and unconditional love. They inspire us to be better versions of ourselves. If they can survive their histories while still being loving and happy, so can we.
