Make room for me! Hello, hoomans. I’m Elliot! I am an extremely outgoing kitty with a very large personality for such a little man! Cats like me are the reason why many fail to believe that cats are independent creatures. I will be a shadow to my chosen hooman! Wherever you are, I will be there to either supervise or demand attention.
I will squeak if I want love and will try to climb up your leg if you don’t pick me up quick enough! I enjoy nose kisses, being snuggled and hearing about what a lovely boy I am. I am also very friendly and will keep you entertained for hours! What more could you ask for? I’m a purrfect family companion!
OH, and fun fact: My foster mommy says I can jump REALLY high!
If you would like to earn the title of my furrever companion and home, feel free to apply below! (If you are considering adopting me in a pair, I would thrive best with Willie!)

Why We Love Fostering
-
There is a special joy in seeing the transformation from fear to trust in a foster cat’s face and posture, the first time they relax and warm up to me. There is so much comedy in a litter of crazy kittens, rollicking and tumbling, learning how to be big cats. Each foster kitty has been cared for as if they were my own, and I enjoy the confidence in the feeling that they are ready for their forever home. That is the biggest difference between choosing to adopt from a small rescue rather than a shelter, and why I love volunteering. People often ask me how I can be so strong to let such sweet kitties go to adoption, but the feeling that I have space to help another is worth the emotional goodbye. Penny is the twenty-first cat I have helped, and I am not going to stop anytime soon! Fostering for Pets Alive is by far the most rewarding volunteering I have ever done.
Why We Love Fostering
-
From fluffy kitten cuddles, to endless purrs and kisses, fostering allows me to live a true “crazy cat lady’s” dream! Most importantly, it gives me the opportunity to have a positive impact on the lives of kittens/cats - some of which have come from very sad and difficult situations - and provide them with a safe and loving start before they go to their furever homes. While it is always challenging to say goodbye, I find comfort in knowing that there is a thorough application process to ensure the kittens/cats are adopted into the purr-fect home.
