About Louie

This adorable little guy has tons of character! Initially very shy, Louie does warm up, and once he does, he’s an absolute joy to be around! He likes to chill but also enjoys a good zoomy session!

Good with dogs and prefers that they aren’t too high energy. We believe he would like and benefit from having another similar sized dog friend in his forever home, but it’s not a must.

Louie is learning to walk on leash. He’s better when he’s with someone he’s comfortable with as he’ll put the brakes on, otherwise, and won’t move. We have seen a lot of improvement in a very short period.

Although he hasn’t been tested with kids, we expect he would be good with them as he has a gentle demeanour.

A fairly active family or person would be great for Louie!

Adoption Fee | $500

Adoption fees help cover the costs associated with rescue, such as vetting, boarding, and transportation.

Prior to adoption, dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and 4Dx tested, and they receive any necessary treatment. After adoption, they are eligible for one month of free pet insurance.
For more information about adoption fees, please review our Adoption FAQs & Fees page.

Why We Love Fostering

  • The thought of cats and kittens missing out on a loving home is one big reason as to why I foster. I thoroughly enjoy watching homeless cats go from being afraid of their own shadow, to throwing themselves at you with all their pent up love. It is so hard to see the cats/kittens leave once they are ready, but knowing someone has adopted a once abandoned sweetheart is the best feeling ever.
