About Domino
Domino is a very smart boy! He is food motivated and learns quickly. He takes time to warm up to new people and can be skittish.
He would do well living in a quiet home in a quiet area. Walking on busy streets with a lot of traffic and activity is overwhelming for him. When he’s on a quiet street he is great at focusing on you and can easily be called to your side and will sit.
Domino has a bite history and must be adopted into an adult only (18+) home. He needs experienced owners that will continue his training and also give him the space he needs. If you are looking for a dog to snuggle on the couch or take to social gatherings, Domino is not the dog for you. He is good with other dogs and loves to run around and play with them.
He is high energy and needs activities to both mentally and physically exercise. He may be a good candidate for agility, but he would need a lot of training to get to that point.
Since Domino is nervous and unsure he needs a confident handler that will teach him to have confidence as well. He came from Mexico so this is a different environment for him and he needs a patient owner who will take the time to bond with and train him to be the best boy he can be!

Why We Love Fostering
-
I love fostering because it's a great feeling knowing that I am helping dogs find their forever homes. Knowing that they are coming from shelters where they may never be seen, and helping them get adjusted to a home in Canada is an amazing feeling. Since I travel a lot, fostering allows me to get my doggie cuddles and nature hikes without the stress of owning one.
*** Please note that we are NOT accepting applications for the dogs listed as Coming Soon. These dogs have either yet to arrive or have only just recently arrived. Once their foster families get to know them a little better, a detailed bio outlining their personality and describing their ideal home will be posted and we will then begin accepting applications for them. ***
