About Brutus

Brutus' favourite activity is to run around the yard. He loves to walk on top of the truck tires that are currently stacked in the yard of his foster home. Brutus sits, gives paw, and catches his treats!

Brutus has been improving while walking on leash. He needs a little bit of a correction at times when walking ahead of you but responds well to the correction. His energy level is about an 6 out of 10.

Brutus needs an adopter with dog experience. The more experience, the better. Someone who will continue the training and patiently work on his behaviours. Trainer recommends multiple visits before adopting.

Adoption Fee | $400

Adoption fees help cover the costs associated with rescues, such as vetting, boarding and transportation.

They also cover spay/neuter, heartworm testing and treatment (if necessary), rabies and DHLPP vaccines, microchip, and one month of pet insurance prior to adoption.

Many of our dogs are adults that have never received any obedience training or experienced structure and routine prior to being rescued. Behavioural issues are common. Rescue dogs have often been through a lot of stress & instability. We emphasize the importance of routine and training in a positive manner without the unnecessary use of harsh leash corrections, rolling, pinning, or hitting. Do you accept this? *
