About Obi

Obi is a wonderfully gentle boy, who loves to be by his human’s side. He loves attention, loves a good belly rub and is an excellent snuggle buddy. Obi is also very playful and loves to run and play outside chasing a ball or a stick. He enjoys going for walks but is still working on walking in a straight line – so many things to see and smell!

He is very smart and learning basic commands quickly. He is also excellent with potty training and knows how to let his human know when he wants to go outside. Obi loves meeting other dogs and wants to play with all of them! He approaches with curiosity and is quite submissive – he plays very nicely with new friends. He is a bit nervous of new people, especially men, but once he builds some trust, he is your best friend!

He is nervous of big noises and quick movements, so young children can startle him easily. Obi has a keen interest in squirrels and birds and will give chase as soon as he sees them, for this reason cats would not be a good idea to have in a home with Obi.

Obi is also doing well with crate training. He will go into the crate on his own for a quick nap. He is not super happy at first when being left alone and will bark in protest, but will settle down and rest after a few minutes.

Overall Obi is a very happy boy! He is the perfect balance between the bouncy, playful adventurer that will motivate you to get outside, and the snuggly, lazy cuddle buddy for rainy days on the couch.
