About Yico

Yico is sweet, loving, and very easygoing. He is a bit timid but not skittish and has a wonderful curiosity for all the new things he is experiencing in Canada. He is still learning a few things like how to play with toys – and how to stay warm in this cold new place! Yico is very well-mannered and sits for his food and treats. He is also great on a leash and is learning to love the great outdoors (although would appreciate it if the great outdoors could turn the heat on). He loves his crate and likes to go rest there when he needs a break.

Yico loves a good cuddle and endless pets and belly rubs from anyone who offers. He is great with other dogs and would do well with another confident dog in the house to show him the ropes. He also likes kids as long as they can shower him with love and attention!

Yico is doing really well with potty training and so far has a perfect record of no accidents which is amazing because he has never lived in a house before. Since he hasn’t lived in a house before he will need some pointers on boundaries like not hopping up on the kitchen table, and the counter being off limits – but he is a smart little boy and will learn quickly!

Yico is a special dog, with a special heart. He was diagnosed with a very slightly enlarged heart, which will require medication for the rest of his life, but this hasn’t gotten his spirits down at all.

He also comes with 6 months' worth of this medication. A 3-month supply of tis medication will be approximately $21 CDN.

He is still the same sweet boy that just wants a cozy place to rest his head, a nice toy to chew on, and some amazing humans to shower him with love!
