About Hazel

Hazel is such a sweetie! She loves meeting new dogs and also playing with them: rolls on her back when she's around them, and has got along with every dog she has met so far! Same goes with kids any age: very gentle and good with them!

Hazel doesn't show any excitement towards toys yet so she doesn't play much. However, she loves to run around in the backyard and loves any human and dog she meets. She is a very quiet dog and only becomes vocal when separated from her humans. In her free time she loves belly rubs and giving kisses to everyone around. Her energy level is a 3 out of 10.

Adoption fees help cover the costs associated with rescues, such as vetting, boarding and transportation.

They also cover spay/neuter, heartworm testing and treatment (if necessary), rabies and DHLPP vaccines, microchip, and one month of pet insurance prior to adoption.

Many of our dogs are adults that have never received any obedience training or experienced structure and routine prior to being rescued. Behavioural issues are common. Rescue dogs have often been through a lot of stress & instability. We emphasize the importance of routine and training in a positive manner without the unnecessary use of harsh leash corrections, rolling, pinning, or hitting. Do you accept this? *
