Max was found as a stray in Kentucky and no owner came forward to claim him. He has a really sweet personality; he's very affectionate, loyal, and full of life.

Max is very well-behaved and loves to meet new people. He's great in the car, he's good on a leash (he pulls a little), he's crate trained, and he’s surprisingly quiet.

Max is very much the kind of dog that you could just pack up and take with you anywhere and he’d fit right in.

He would prefer a home without small animals, as he has a very high prey drive, but he would definitely be happy to live with a canine playmate.

In his spare time, Max loves to wrestle with his foster sister, shake stuffies, murder squeaky toys, and hide his favourite bones in his bed.

He has lovely soft fur and the cutest ears and he's just a really good, clever boy that will make someone very happy!

Many of our dogs are adults that have never received any obedience training or experienced structure and routine prior to being rescued. Behavioural issues are common. Rescue dogs have often been through a lot of stress & instability. We emphasize the importance of routine and training in a positive manner without the unnecessary use of harsh leash corrections, rolling, pinning, or hitting. Do you accept this? *
