About Scrappy

Scrappy is a sweet and peppy pup that loves people! He loves to be near people at all times. He has a bit of separation anxiety and is working on his confidence being away from his humans.

He loves to go for walks and enjoys meeting new people and new dogs. He has no fear and will approach new people and bigger dogs with confidence. He pays close attention to his surroundings and takes note of new sounds and activities. He can jump on and off of the couch and asks for help when he can’t get onto the bed to cuddle.

He is working on mastering his crate training and is doing well so far. He whines for the first five minutes but then settles and curls up into his cozy blankets for a good nap. He has not yet mastered housetraining and will need a patient human to continue helping him with his training.

He loves to play and prance around with stuffies that are bigger than him. When he is not playing with stuffies you can find him chewing on his nylabone or getting cozy in his bed with all of his blankets.

Scrappy is looking for a patient adopter to help him continue to learn and master his housetraining and continue to build his confidence with his new surroundings. Scrappy has a little cough right now but this could be due to the big change in weather for him – he is being closely observed to make sure he is on the mend.
